Welcome to the Mac WarBirdsô Help Center

Before you begin, you have to make a decision...do you:

want to download the pages for local viewing
(if it's not there, it will be by 1Feb.)
want to look at the pages online
want to view already downloaded pages

The help files are in HTML format. You have the choice of looking at them online, or downloading the pages for viewing locally with either Netscape or Internet Explorer. There are pro's and con's for each method:

Download the pages for local viewing:

The advantages of this method are that you will have them there to see anytime, without the hassle of going online, and with a faster load time. The disadvantage is that you will not get the updates to the pages automagically unless there has been an update to the downloadable help (usually only with a major version upgrade).

View the pages online:

Obviously, you will always get the latest version of the help pages this way. However, you will have to go online to do so, and the load time will take a while longer.

What you will find in the Help Center:

Not just an old rehash of the old help files (well, not completely). By putting the Help online in html format, it is easier to update with everything and anything that you, the pilot, might be interested in, or want to know...such as detailed information on every plane that is available in the game (if not now, then soon), hints on flying techniques (gathered from WB aces - mostly Trips), complete key and command listings (well, as complete as they let me), and a form to give me hints as to what else to add to the site. I don't want to put in a lot of redundant information, but I DO want to make this the MOST helpful help site it can be. Keep in mind that this is my project, supported and encouraged by Caligula (who nags a lot), and not something that is coming directly out of the iMOL offices...so please be patient when waiting for updates.
